Uploading Photos to Flickr

 

To upload your photos for display in the Photo Gallery or any other page of the wiki, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Flickr website, http://www.flickr.com, and click “Sign In.”

2. In the log-in window, enter jlehman76 and the SooNats password.

3. Click Upload photos.

4. Click on Choose photos and select the photos you want to upload from the “Open” window.

5. Click Upload and wait until the photos appear.

6. Click Describe your photos. Give each photo a title at the top. In the box below the photo give a brief description (optional), your name, and the date of the photo if you know it.

7. Under Add to a Set select SooNats Wiki, then click SAVE THIS BATCH.

8. Your photos will appear with the rest of the uploaded photos.

9. E-mail me at jlehman@lssu.edu if you want me to add them to a new or existing set.

 

Adding Your Photos to a Set

 

To add your photos to an existing set:

1. Click on Organize.

2. Click on the Sets and Collections tab.Your photos will appear on the left of a line of photos at the bottom of the page.

3. Find a set you want to add your photos to and click on its name.

4. Drag your photos to the window that appears, after the last photo of the set.

5. Click on SAVE.

6. If you want to add one or more photos to a different set, repeat steps 3-5.
